Just Rugby,Golf & Cricket.

I have used Basic Grey Card and stamped the images using Veramark. The colours of card used to back the sentiment are Glourious Green, Only Orange and and Real Red. I have finished the cards by adding some black ribbon and brads.

My First 'Just Beachy' Card,

This is one of the stamp sets from the Spring Mini Catalogue. I have used Pink Piroutte and Pixie Pink card stock. I have distressed the edges of the card using the perforating tool from the cutter kit. The ink I have used is Pixie Pink with clear emboss powder.

An Oops Card...

This belated message is from the On Your Birthday stamp set. I have matched the sentiment with this Bear who appears to be saying "Oops".The patterned paper is from the Holiday Treasures series and is placed over some black embossed card. I have threaded some White Grosgrain ribbon through a slot created with the Horizontal slot punch.

Shoes and Bags.

The bags and shoes stamps are from a retired set called It's a Girl Thing. I recently purchased the Stampendous sentiment stamp as I thought they would go well together. I have used paper from the Pink Flamingo series and water coloured the bags and shoes with Real Red, Summer Sun Pixie Pink and Chocolate Chip.

Sizzix Flower Die.....

Hello, I have made this card with a Sizzix flower die that I have had for ages. I have used White a Pink Pirouette card and have inked the edges with the same colour inks. The flower has been mounted on Gable Green card and the sentiment has been stamped with Gable Green ink on the Pink Pirouette strip. The White below has been punched with the Scallop punch. The Swirl in the background is from the Priceless stamp set and applied using Versamark.

New Punches...

I was at a local store at the weekend which had 40% off Stampedous stamps and my order from the new Summer Mini Cat has just arrived. So I shall have some new cards here soon.

I managed to get my hands on two Martha Stewart punches a few weeks ago. I have used them both on this card for the boarder and to punch the butterfly's. I have used the Pocket Silhouettes stamp with Summer Sun and Old Olive card, and added some Bella blink.

A Girly Party Hearty

Hello and thanks for dropping by. I thought I would make this card as I have a few girly Birthdays coming up. I have used DCWV glitter stack paper matched with Summer Sun, Glorious Green and Pink Pirouette card stock and ink. I even had Kaiser rhinestones that matched.

Happy Fishing.

This is a stamp from Art Gone Wild that I thought was a must have,as male cards are much harder to create than female ones. I have Versamarked the small fish from the retired set of Fishy Friends onto the back ground. The stripped paper is Wndsor Knot and is layered on to Old Olive and Baja Breeze card. I have used the same colours of ink to watercolour the image.

Pocket Silhouettes...

Hello, how time flies. I didn't realise that it had been so long since my last post. As you can see I have used the Pocket Silhouettes stamps for this card. They are so easy, as there is no colouring required. I have used Doodlebug paper with some Pixie Pink and Pacific Point card stock. The embellishments I just had to have and are made by Bella.

Last Post for Today...

The Robot is from a set of Sanylion stamps and has been layered onto white and Real Red card. The Only Orange strips have been embossed using a cuttlebug border. The Brilliant Blue background is stamped using the SU sanded stamp. I then used the Photo Corners punch and add some brads.

Fun & Fast Wishes

Hello Again, another post. I have made several cards over the last two weeks, so I thought I better post them. The cake & sentiment are from the set Fun & Fast Notes and are mounted on white and Pink Pirouette card cut using nestabilities. The paper is Raspberry Tart DP. I have used a cuttlebug emboss boarder down the centre of the card and threaded Riding Hood Red Taffeta ribbon through using the horizontal slot punch.

How Cute...

This must be my most favourite card yet. The jelly fish is from the retired stamp set Fishy Friends. The paper is Doodlebug and has been layered onto Glorious Green and Brilliant Blue. I have stressed the edges using the SU distressing tool. I always stamp first with VersaMark then with ink so the image can be embossed. I have inked the edges of the spotty paper with Tempting Turquoise.

Shoe Fanatics.....

Another new stamp from the show. This one was made by Stampendous and will be put to good use for those I know who are shoe fanatics. The Bella Rose DP was any easy choice to tie in with the colours of the cake and I even got to try my new nestabilities set. I hope you like it.

A Pocket Silhouettes - Birthday

This is quite a simple card. With the use of this year's 'in colours' I think it makes it quite effective. I have layered the card with Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss and White card stock. I have created the images with Pocket Silhouettes and On Your Birthday stamps and added a little Kiwi Kiss striped grosgrain ribbon.

Cats & Dogs

The card that I have made today is using a new stamp that I got from the Papercraft show. I just had to have this one, it is from Inky Antics. The bone and fish are from a Doodlebug set. The card is black and Baja Breeze and the paper is Urban Oasis DP.

Crazy for Cupcakes...

What a week!!! Firstly my Stampin' Up order arrived with an assortment of Designer papers, ribbons and two new stamp sets. Then I decided to purchase a Sizzix BIG Shot, after spending days searching I finally found one which arrived on Friday. On Saturday I went to the Papercraft show in Brisbane with my Sister and came home with lots of inspiration and goodies to play with.

Today I got the chance to stay at home and had the choice of house work or card making. As you can see I chose card making lol. I had to try out my new Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and nestabilities.
I began this card with So Saffron patterned paper and decided to use Close to Coccoa and Pink Pirouette Card Stock, which made it easy when it came to watercolour the cupcakes. I decided red cherries didn't go with the colours I had chosen and used Kaiser rhinestones instead. The flowers were made using 3 different sizes of paper shapers punches and the sentiment is from the On Your Birthday stamp set.

Cocktail Anyone???

For this card I have used Sweet Always Designer Paper and Pumpkin Pie card stock. The inks to match the paper were used to watercolour the image stamped with the Cheers to You stamp set. I have used the corner punch and some orange brads to finish it off.

Bugs and Kisses - DragonFly

I have used my favourite colour combination on this card; they are Gable Green and Pink Pirouette. The distressing tool from the cutter kit is really easy to use and gives the card even more of a 3D effect.

The stamp sets used are Bugs and Kisses and the flowers are from Priceless and Eastern Blooms. I have used VeraMark for the flowers to give a subtle effect. The back ground stamp used is Sanded. Stampin dimensionals has been used to raised the dragon fly.

Mum's 60th Birthday.

It was my Mum's 60th Birthday a few weeks ago and I had to have this when I saw it. I thought it would be a nice keepsake for her, with some photos of her party in it.

I have decorated it with Bella Rose DP and lots of ribbons. The ribbons are White, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette.

Cheers To You......

Here I have used the Cheers To You stamp set with Chocolate Chip and Old Olive card stock. The patterned paper is from the Windsor Knot set.

A Girly Birthday.

I thought I should make use of my Fun & Fast Notes stamp set and some Bella Rose paper. The colours used are Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss from the 'in colour' family. Its so easy when everything is coordinating.

My Most Favourite Set...Gone...

I just had to have this Fishy Friends set before it retired. Such a shame. It is a pleasure to watercolour and so easy to match to any of the designer papers. What a great card for those avid fishermen out there. I recently made one for a work colleague and everyone loved it.

The colours used are Old Olive and Chocolate Chip card with Windsor Knot stripped paper. By watercolouring with Old Olive and So Saffron, it all ties together. "It's your day... ENJOY" is from the On Your Birthday stamp set.

One for the Kids.

I received the new Party Hearty stamp set as part of my starter kit and will make good use of it for the numerous cards I make throughout the year for the kids in my family.

The template for the card I have used here is one from the 2008-2009 catalogue. I have matched Brilliant Blue and Only Orange card and ink with the now retired Jersey Shore designer series paper. By raising the centre of the 'b' and adding some white brads, it has given the card a 3D effect.

An Eastern Bloom Creation......

I just love the new 'in colour' Pink Pirouette and have matched it here with Chocolate Chip and kraft card. The inks I have used are Chocolate Chip and Old Olive. To add a little details I used the scallop punch and some hemp twine.
The flowers I have stamped and raised using the Eastern Bloom set and the words are one of twelve from the On Your Birthday stamp set. I hope you like it.

New Supplies

I wanted to wait until my supplies from the new catalogue arrived before I posted any pictures. Here they are, and now I can't decide where to start.

I am so pleased with the new designer series papers, they are all beautiful. I chose Bella Rose, Windsor Knot and Urban Garden. I couldn't resist the Bugs and Kisses and Cheers To You Stamp Sets and a few of the 'in colour' ribbons.
